My name is Libby and I am the new in-house art instructor at Nockies Palette Cellar Door! Looking for a new relaxing and inspirational activity? My approach to Art has become far more about the psychological benefits of Art Therapy and I really hope that will come across in my sessions. While obviously we all want to make beautiful art, what I really want to focus on is guiding people towards techniques and materials that identify with the individual on an emotional and psychological level. Charcoal Drawing Basics Workshop with Libby Mitchell
In this 3hr session we will be covering the basic techniques such as understanding shading, blending and how to create bold, textural work and playing around with different surfaces and mediums. Great for beginners who have little to no experience with charcoal, or want to better understand drawing with charcoal or already established artists... or great for those who love getting their hands dirty!
Come at any time in our cellar door and allow at least one hour to enjoy your Wine and Paint retreat and get inspired by the garden view.
