Children's Holiday Art Workshops

Fun tutor Holi Shannon has a week jam-packed full of fun kids workshops, over the upcoming October school holidays!

Book in for just the morning, afternoon session or the whole day!

Morning sessions: 9 - 11.30am
Afternoon sessions: 12.30 - 3pm
Or stay the full day, with a lunch break in between.

These classes are suitable for ages 5 and up. We request that a parent or a caregiver stays with any child under 7 years old.

Pre-payment is required to secure your place on these popular classes. Your place can be reserved for 48 hours while you organise confirmation with payment online using EV2137 and your name as a reference. Please call for details.

Monday AM | Potato Stamp Printmaking
Learn how to make your very own potato stamp, and create unique and fun prints to take home.

Monday PM | Recycled Art Play
Dive into your imagination and create your very own friend to take home! We're thinking robots! animals! ocean creatures! Learn how to use recycled materials and create fun sculptures from them.

Tuesday AM | Crazy Collage
Let the cutting begin! Design and create unique collage pieces. Learn about composition and how to piece together your very own masterpiece! 

Tuesday PM | Graffiti Floor Drawing
Express your inner urban artist and leave your mark on our floor! Take fun photos with your piece and tag us on Instagram so we can show the world! @creativeartsnapier

Wednesday AM | Clay Creations
Turn your drawings into a clay creation! Whether it be an undiscovered animal species, or an alien from out of space! Come and have fun with clay, and take home your very first sculpture!

Wednesday PM | Recycled Art Play
Dive into your imagination and create your very own friend to take home! We're thinking robots! animals! ocean creatures! Learn how to use recycled materials and create fun sculptures from them.

Thursday AM | Indian Ink Sketching
For the very artistic ones out there! Learn how to use Indian Ink, and create some awesome imagery that you can take home and hang on the wall. 

Thursday PM | Nature Brushes
Head outdoors with Holi to explore and gather natural materials, to make your very own Nature Brush. Will you be creating imagery with leaves? sticks? or maybe feathers? Let your imagination run wild!

Friday AM | Clay Creations (fired after workshop has finished and to be picked up at a later date)
Turn your drawings into a clay creation! Whether it be an undiscovered animal species, or an alien from out of space! Come and have fun with clay, and take home your very first sculpture!

Friday PM | Miniature World!
Design and create your very own diorama in a shoebox! Have fun with our supplies and create a miniature scene to take home.

In line with current Level 2 restrictions, please wear a mask and use your COVID Tracer app when entering Creative Arts Napier. 2 metre distancing is observed in all of our galleries. Mask wearing is not mandatory for children under 12 years of age.
