Chris Parker was the only comedian to be affected by the global COVID-19 crisis, and he's pretty certain he's the only comedian brave enough to talk about it live onstage.

When live comedy venues and theatre shut their doors and the bloodbath of gig cancellations poured out, Chris understandably was a little stressed and instead of fleeing to the supermarket or alcohol shop to grab supplies and drown his feelings away, Chris ran to DAISO Japan on Queen Street, where he bought little felt craft kits for $3.

As the case numbers began to rise along with the countries fears and anxiety levels, Chris began to mindlessly share his felting journey on his Instagram Stories. What resulted from the 6-week lockdown was something quite unprecedented. 20k more followers, a hat made of felt creations, and two acquisitions to purchase the hat from National Museums.

Chris has absolutely no idea why! But he is certainly ready to cash in on the success.

How I Felt is New Zealand's and dare I say it the worlds very first live comedy felting show. Join award-winning comedian Chris Parker for a night of cathartic, hilarious storytelling about the things that make us all stressed and anxious, while he simultaneously completes the mindful, calming activity of completing an entire $3 DAISO japan felting kit right in front of your very eyes.

If you followed Chris's felting journeys on Instagram, this is the show for you. If you didn't this still is the show for you! I promise.

Not factually accurate.
Also not true.
