During this workshop, you will learn how to make a texture and colourful decorated cup.
Jane will show and guide you on how to construct your individual cups and you will also get a chance to decorate them with ceramic underglazes. The cups will be fired twice in her kiln and be ready for collection approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.
Clay, tools and a board to work on will be provided. It is advised participants bring an apron.

Artist Biography
Gaining a 1st Class BA Hons in Fine & Applied Art at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland in 2006, Jane McCulla immigrated to NZ in 2009. She teaches throughout NZ and undertakes private and public commissions. For over 7 years she was a Regional Council Member and VP of Ceramics Association of NZ. In 2017 Jane completed a residency at The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, working predominantly with porcelain in China. Her ceramics have been in various publications and exhibited in both solo and national shows in London, UK, Ireland and NZ and are held in public collections. Her ceramics have received awards including a Portage Merit Award in 2013.
