Want to know more about the collections and services of the Alexander Turnbull Library and National Library of New Zealand? Keen to learn how you can connect to the collections and use them in your research or publication? Then these talks are for you. Connecting to Collections talks are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (February to November)

Hear staff talk about our collections:
Staff from the Alexander Turnbull Library and the National Library of New Zealand talk about the wonderful collections and services available to you.

Talks cover topics such as family history, saving your digital files, new features of PapersPast and Digital New Zealand, and using photographs in your research.

From time to time we will also have guest speakers from Archives New Zealand and Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision.

Conservation clinics
Following some Connecting, to Collections sessions, we hold Conservation Clinics where you can learn more about the preservation of your treasured family collections from physical books and papers to digital materials.

Details of individual Connecting to Collections talks and Conservation Clinics will be posted once they are confirmed — or join the Library’s mailing list to hear more about upcoming talks and events.
