After only 8 months of engaging, gathering and collecting material from ethnic grassroot communities, 20 artworks have been created that are now ready to meet the public and ‘tell a story’. The uniqueness of manifestation makes this exhibition an originating and bold trial for the NZ ethnic diversity sector.
Through the challenges and impacts of the Christchurch earthquakes, the March terrorist attack and the COVID-19 pandemic, now is the right time for artists to raise a voice and demonstrate their core value of diversity from painting the world’s perspectives.
This project started in September 2020 and is proudly supported and funded by MEC (Ministry for Ethnic Communities)’s ECDF Fund.
