Coppermine Junction are a 4 piece Bluegrass band from Nelson. Expect fast foot stompers, a blast of Americana, hot picking, soaring harmonies and lonesome waltzes. Channelling Gillian Welch, Tim O'Brien and Earl Scruggs and featuring the great sound of banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and upright bass, Coppermine Junctions' old-time mountain music raises spirits. Their music is sure to leaving you grinning and coming back for more.
You may know Craig Pritchard from his associations with the music and poetry group The Rouseabaouts, the Manawatu-based local music collective, Ceol Manawatu, or the celtic/ceilidh band Callanish. Craig is a guitaritist and singer who brings eclectic covers and originals with a strong celtic feel. Recently relocated to Nelson, we are pleased to introduce Craig to the Boathouse audience.
