Event postponed until we're in Level 2 and an alternate date will be decided.
We invite you to take part in the Daffodil Day Cycle of Hope Round the Mountain ride on 27th August 2021, raising donations to support the Taranaki Cancer Society.
The event involves a staged anticlockwise 185km ride. It is not a race. The bunch rides at about 25km/h and a reasonable level of fitness is required. Riders can complete just a stage.
There are short breaks at Okato, Opunake, Ngaere school and Inglewood. Morning tea is provided at Hawera and lunch at Stratford compliments of the Cancer Society. An end of ride celebration with pizzas and drinks follow at the New Plymouth stadium.
A support van follows the bunch.
If you cannot join us on the day, please forward this invitation to anybody you know who may be able to take part.
You can enter by texting me at 0274697241 with your email address and mobile number and an emergency name and number.
There is no entry fee but riders are expected to make a generous donation to this very worthwhile charity. Also, riders usually get their friends, families and work colleagues to donate as well. If you are making a donation to a rider please add their name.
If you have any further questions please text or call 0274697241.
Kind regards
John Robertson-JR
