Experience the fully renovated Air Chathams ZK-AWP, and learn the history and stories with our dedicated aircrew. The Air Chathams DC3 has been repainted in the original NAC livery where the aircraft's flying service in New Zealand began. There are only 28 seats per flight and you'll experience the old-fashioned luxury of flying with plenty of legroom, wide comfy seats and large "Skyliner" windows.
The aircraft flew NAC passenger services from April 1953 until the late 1960's. This aircraft is a true-blue Kiwi, having served with the Royal NZ Airforce, National Airways Corporation, and even as an aerial top-dresser within NZ.
Priced at only $99 per seat plus booking fees, this is amazing value. Wide comfy seats, big "skyliner" windows, experience "real" flying in a 1945 Douglas DC-3 from days when air travel was a luxury featuring on-board service that includes a memento of your trip back in time.
