Dean Heazlewood is a guitarist/singer who has been part of the NZ music scene for many years. Past bands including The Mockers, Nightshift, The Lazy Boyz, The NZ Blues Brothers, and currently the three-piece rock and blues band “Crossfire".
In the solo performance, you will hear cruisey jazz, blues, country and rockabilly standards as well as some originals. All performed organically with guitars, harmonica, mandolin and stompbox.
No programmed backing music is used although a looper is used so that two or more guitar parts can be played in the same song.
It is not uncommon for a special guest or two to sit in for few songs.
