Directors Lab - Massive Company

The Director's Lab is a mentorship programme by Massive Company. The year-long programme is for emerging directors to learn and practice their craft, incorporating kōrero with industry professionals about ideas they want to explore. Each director works with their own actors for practical experimentation of theories and performance techniques. Participants are supported in attending local theatre performances to engage their critical sense, and to open up discussions around theatre practice.

The Director's Lab culminates in a series of week-long intensive workshops, including a final day sharing their work with the public.
