Come and celebrate Easter at Pūkaha!
Every paid child entry over the Easter long weekend (2nd April – 5th April) gets a yummy Easter egg treat from our visitor centre staff.
April is also Takahē Awareness Month. Visitors to Pūkaha can learn about the founding role Takahē played in creating Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre. There will be a Takahē feeding and ranger talk, every day at 10.30 am on the Kākā Café deck. Young tamariki will enjoy fun nature activities from the Takahē table throughout April as well as an all-ages colouring-in competition with prizes, See entries on display at our Visitor Centre.
