Essence is an experience, iconic to Tairāwhiti. Feeding our guests souls with local goodness, sharing the rich culture of our region and telling stories of gathering and preparing food traditionally. The festival experience will include a large array of local growers, producers and entertainment plus educational masterclasses and demonstrations hosted by local chefs, hunters, gatherers and artisan winemakers.
