The fairy lights at Hobsonville Point's fairy village are back!

Come and celebrate the beginning of Autumn with us. See the fairy houses lit up and enjoy the magical atmosphere.

The fairies love seeing your creativity and encourage you to dress up in something bright and colourful.

About the Fairy Houses:

We began creating fairy houses in March 2020 during the first week of New Zealand's Covid-19 lockdown. One by one, houses started to appear in the trees dotted around Hobsonville Point's Bomb Point Park.

We wanted to give families something other than Covid to think about, and imagined kids dragging their parents outdoors with them to "see the fairies", which is exactly what they did!

The houses delight kids and adults alike and are visited every day by people from all walks of life. Our aim is simply to bring joy to people and stir their imaginations.

The houses are for the community and not for private sale - they have been placed in public parks so that everyone can enjoy them.
