Flaunt Your Handknit Socks

Community String knitting Adventures is slipping into autumn the way we know best!
This is for everyone, but especially for sock knitters.

Meet at the Market Rd entrance (between 101 and 103) We’ll walk up Te Kopuke/Mt Saint John (don’t worry it’s a small maunga, find a spot to settle down to knit socks and have morning tea (byo). Wear your handknitted socks and if possible, bring a small pair to donate to Kidz First Children’s Hospital via the Middlemore Foundation.

If you are a knitter but want to learn to knit socks, this is your chance to learn. Bring some dpns, or a long circular needle and some sock yarn.

If it rains we’ll publicise another date on Facebook, but we’re up for a walk in the rain!
