FMG Jr Young Farmer Of The Year

The FMG Young Farmer Of The Year competition series extends and challenges the competitors well outside of their comfort zone, builds character, develops leadership skills and pursues excellence.

The Competition runs alongside the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Regional Finals across the seven Young Farmer Regions and culminates at the Grand Final each year.

FMG Jr Young Farmer Of The Year is for secondary school students aged year 9 - year 13. The program aims to introduce and promote a positive picture about the primary industries careers from an early age.

The goal is to show the stimulating and fun side of agriculture to students from all walks of life, you don't need to be off a farm to participate! You just need to have a love of the land and be keen to get your hands dirty!
