As the earth begins her slow tilt back towards the sun, we invite you to rest into the quietude of winter before unfurling body and intentions gently into the light.

Join Rosa, Ming & Lana on this retreat at Space Studio. Be guided through soothing and energising practices – traditional and current, woven together with practical concepts and approaches that support and sustain our wellbeing, energy and ease.

There will be many opportunities to journey into silence too; to attune to deep reservoirs of your inner landscape and intuition. This retreat will offer the precious gifts of presence, nourishing rest and stillness, enquiry, inspiration, companionship and rejuvenation.

Lana is the owner and director of Space Studio. For over 25 years she has been leading and guiding individuals and groups to support them to meet life’s opportunities and challenges. Her calling has been to, ‘discover & experience joy & fulfilment in everyday life’. Her question is, ‘how can I be here more fully, more lightly?’
Her training and accreditations include: ERYT 500; Sarah Powers – Insight Yoga Institute – endorsed teacher -RYT500; Mindfulness Institute Australasia; Training in neuro-plasticity with neuro-psychologist – Dr Rick Hanson; Tara Judelle – Embodied Flow intensive.

Ming’s journey with Yoga started a decade ago in Ubud (Bali) when she was introduced to Kundalini Tantra Yoga by Ketut Arsana. This glimpse of the body, as an amazing vehicle for transformation, ignited her enquiry into the science of yoga. Her accreditation is with the School of Embodied Flow RYT 200
Observing nature inspires her practice, as does a te ao Māori lens on wellbeing – interdependent and integrated. She weaves te reo through her classes and both ‘play and curiosity’ is her mantra. She looks forward to exploring new pathways of movement and connection together with you.

Rosa is a passionate teacher who has a voice like an angel! She is known for integrating asana, philosophy, meditation, pranayama and chanting into each practice.
She was born in the sunny Canary Islands (Spain). In 2017, she moved to Australia and devoted a year to yoga teacher training at the Byron Yoga Centre in NSW. Since then she has taught in Byron Bay, the Canary Islands, Sri Lanka and finally NZ. Wellington is now her abode.
When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga she is employed in graphic design, delving into spiritual books or looking out for waves to surf and sunshine to drop into. RYT 800
