Experiment with scales, clocks, pendulums and telescopes and learn about the revolutionary Renaissance discoveries of Galileo Galilei.

Called “the father of modern science” by Albert Einstein, in his lifetime Galileo’s radical theories about Earth’s place in the solar system saw him imprisoned by church authorities.

Galileo proved the Earth and other planets orbited the Sun. Just as important were of methods of his experiments, which paved the way for modern science with their use of mathematics.

Developed by The Artisans of Florence, whose Da Vinci exhibitions have been shown previously at the Museum, 'Galileo: Scientist, Astronomer, Visionary' explores Galileo’s contributions to science through hands-on, interactive exhibits.

'Galileo' is a hands-on exhibition that is sure to be a hit with families of all ages.

Created by Artisans of Florence and Niccolai Teknoart S.N.C. (Firenze)
