Hey, guys! Welcome to Game Day, a day dedicated to making some new friends over a couple of rounds of board games. Yeah, we couldn’t think of a more creative name but hey it works.
Anyway come in and play from our wide selection of games or if you have a game on your shelf that doesn’t get the time it deserves then bring your own games along and we can have a go. There will be a Facebook event page where attendees can discuss games that they want to play on the day and find players for those games so you can jump in straight away.
Or you can just go with the flow and join a random game, there will be helpful assistants during the event that will help with gameplay and rules so don’t worry if you are a complete beginner to board games.
Unfortunately, there will be no food served on the premises, but you can bring food in but please don’t beat around the board games and remember to clean up after yourself.
Last but not least with the help of Humanitix a percentage of the ticket sales will go to charity helping disadvantaged Māori and Pasifika students struggling in the education system. Tickets will put your name will go into a prize draw at 5pm.
