Hugely inspired by Greg Churchill and Angela Fisken, he learned from their sets on the radio and CD and subsequently collected a lot of similar music.
A master of slick, dirty and well constructed beats, Brett Bronze dons not only his extremely noteworthy DJ hat, but that of one of Auckland's most successful and well liked promoters. Brett put his first official party on in 2008 at Auckland’s Space bar, where he first made a name for himself. From there he has gone from strength to strength.
Pivotal in the success of Collude, La Terraza and Sonorous, over the years Brett has helped bring through some of the most recognizable names in worldwide house and techno.
An integral member of Funkhutt Radio, Brett is still pushing musical boundaries and forging firm friendships, all for the betterment of Auckland’s vibrant house and techno scene.
A Brett Bronze set is just like him, filled with warmth, fun and radiating good times. His energy is rapturous as he throws down everything from chunky four to lush downtempo to driving 130BPM techno, the dancefloor is never static and you won’t be either.
Brett will be playing alongside Ink Resident and Friday night stalwart Greg Churchill. Greg is one of the finest DJs over all genres to come out of New Zealand. Massively respected by all punters and fellow DJs alike a Greg Churchill set is a thing of rare beauty.
Bevan Keys will open the night. One of the finest selectors around Bevan has long reached legend status and his perfecting mixing of house, techno, disco and rare groove has been a huge factor in inks continued success.
