Have Your Say - Ruakaka

Join us to ‘Have Your Say’ at the Ruakaka Rec Centre to find out more information about our current public consultation on the proposed Oruku Landing Conference and Multi-Events Centre.

Our elected councillors, Mayor Sheryl Mai and Council staff invite you to an open discussion to raise questions and have your say on the project.

The evening will include a short overview of the proposed project, including what it would mean for ratepayers if Whangarei District Council were to take on this project and run with it on behalf of the community. Following the presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to sit down with some of the elected members and other WDC senior leadership staff to discuss.

It is important to note that there will not be formal hearings of submissions for this consultation. People who would like to make oral submissions in support of their submissions can do so at these Have Your Say events.
