Tim Bray Youth Theatre and Mangere Arts Centre invite you to Hit the Stage! these April School holidays.

There will be two groups - 13-15 years and 16-19 years. Devising and rehearsals will be held at Mangere Arts Centre from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd April from 9am - 3pm every day, with a free performance on the Friday for family and friends at 5.30pm. Each ticket will be for all five days.

No experience is needed. Just bring your imagination, enthusiasm and be prepared to be creative.

You will learn the creative and practical skills of devising and rehearsing a show with professional tutors. The week is designed to build the young actor’s confidence and skill, incorporating aspects of stagecraft such as ensemble work, voice, movement, improvisation, characterization, singing, and scripting.

Fun and laughter are an essential part of the workshop as our young performers experience what it takes to get a show from the rehearsal floor to the bright lights of the stage.

Come create a unique piece of theatre, ready to "Hit the Stage!" at the end of the week with a performance for family and friends.
