Holiday Creative Writing Camp

Learn to write stories like a published author - with a published author!

'Write Like an Author' is a fun holiday camp for young writers.

Held in a fun and supportive setting at Kowhai Intermediate in Auckland - Albert-Eden, this camp will see children aged 9 to 14 years create, develop and write awesome stories with help from award-winning author and writing coach Melinda Szymanik.

Melinda Szymanik is an award-winning author of picture books, novels and short stories for children including Fuzzy Doodle and A Winters Day in 1939.

Over three jam-packed days, children will develop their writing skills and discover how they too can write like a professional author!

The camp runs from Tuesday, 12nd October 2021 until Thursday, 14th October 2021.

The number of places on the camp is strictly limited so register early if your child is interested in attending the camp.

The camp is non-residential, and runs from 9am to 4pm each day.

The course fee is $195 including a discount for early-bird registration.
