During this workshop, you will discover how to use recycled Tetrapak cartons to create their own dry-point intaglio prints.

We will cover all the steps necessary from preparation of the empty carton to the transfer of images, drawing, inking, and putting through the etching press.

On the way, you will explore various types of mark making, employing both line and tone to achieve dry- point etchings. Each participant will complete their own drypoint intaglio print and have their own print and etching plate to bring home.

In addition, we will discuss methods such as hand colouring and hand stitching prints.
Don’t miss out - only 12 spaces available! All levels welcome. Age: 16 +

What to bring:
• An apron or old shirt as it’ll get messy.
• A few small sketches or images you would like to use to trace onto the plate.
• If you have any empty, clean Tetrapak cartons feel free to bring them along.
• Scissors, pencil, eraser.
• All other materials provided.
