NORML and friends presents the 29th Annual J Day, held on the first Saturday in May every year. This year, it's May Day for cannabis reform!

The cannabis referendum didn't pass last year, but the campaign is not over for sensible and fair cannabis laws in Aotearoa. With 69% of voters backing legalisation or decriminalisation in a recent poll, and reform happening all around the world, we need to keep pushing to make change happen.

Show your support and come to J Day, a free annual community event celebrating Aotearoa's Kiwi cannabis culture and protesting against prohibition. Find out what's happening post-referendum. Learn about medicinal cannabis. Meet people and learn something new.

J Day in Albert Park features bands and DJs on the mightly JAFA Mafia sound system, with a range of informative speakers, market stalls, food trucks, and information booths. Cannabis and hemp petitions, products, hemp foods and more.

One in twenty New Zealanders use cannabis medicinally - including around 75,000 Auckland residents. J Day is where our diverse community - including patients and caregivers - can meet, share experiences, and learn more about cannabis and its associated culture.

J Day is part of a worldwide movement for law reform, held on the first Saturday in May every year. This is the 29th Annual national day of action including support for safe legal access to medicinal cannabis. NORML and our cannabis law reform friends organise free events nationwide to mark the occasion.
