The big laughs are coming to Upper Hutt with a two-hour showcase of some of the country's best and brightest.

James Nokise hosts our first ever Friday Laughs at the Upper Hutt Cossie Club. As seen on TV2's Comedy Gala, and star of the NZ International Comedy Festival, James is New Zealand's favourite Samoan/Welsh stand-up comic - Voted 'Best Male Comedian' and 'Most Improved Comedian' at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards.
James Nokise has carved out a reputation in New Zealand going after everything from gangs, to politicians, to stereotypes within Pacific Culture.

Friday Laughs also features:
Dave Batten, a rising star on the NZ comedy scene, Dave has entertained audiences around the Wellington region, with his takes on politics, family life, and living with cerebral palsy.
