All art materials are provided. Activities are suitable for ages 4 years +. All family art activities are free, donations appreciated.

No booking required. Drop into the Gallery with your kids between 10 am and 12 pm to make art that surprises and inspires.

Craft wood and sparkles into wearable artworks inspired by the change of seasons and the maramataka (the Māori lunar calendar)

Treasure Box / Waka huia:
Cut, fold and decorate your own waka huia and sculpt a treasure to sit within.

Experiment with prodding sticks and stones to cast a mysterious sculpture washed up at the beach.

Use textures, inks and rollers to paint a movie landscape from the future or the past.

Turn yourself wild with your own creature mask or costume, invent some original moves then put it altogether with us under Sky Snakes.
