Come and learn taiko with us at our Open Session!
No drumming or music experience necessary.
Beginners and all ages welcome! Donation entry.

We are Narukami Taiko, a Japanese taiko drum team in Wellington NZ. We are always looking for new members to join our group! We teach classes in Wellington, and now Petone!

We are holding a one-hour open session where you can come and try taiko drumming with us! We will show you the basics of drumming, and you will come out of it playing a fun song.

At the end of the session, we will perform a song for you.

Please bring hearing protection for any young ones coming.
You can get disposable earplugs with a donation.

Current classes open to beginners are
Sundays 6 - 8pm at Wellington Girls College
Tuesdays 7 - 9pm at Petone Central School
Thursdays 6 - 7:50pm at Newtown Working Mens Bowling Club
