John Leigh Calder is an International Double Bass player/ Vocalist who has toured all over Europe and Australasia credited with 5 albums, tours, worldwide Festivals and Jazz Clubs John’s voice will take you on a journey of emotions from slick Jazz delivery’s, haunting ballads and Blues taking you on a roller coaster ride of different musical feels. The musicians to back this all up comprise Walter Bianco, tenor saxophone, one of Auckland’s all-time session players - Matt Watson, piano, highly regarded in the NZ music scene as a top musician and teacher of music and Pete John’s jnr on drums who’s worked throughout Australasia. This promises to be a great gig not to be missed at Whangarei’s premier venue.
