John McGough the Trumpetguy

Trumpeter, DJ and Vocalist John McGough return to the Whangamata RSA this Easter Sunday for the first time in eleven years! This will be a night not to be missed as this award-winning brass musician and entertainer works his way through the night with live trumpet and DJ sounds.

Many of your favourite trumpet tunes will be played along with Latin American, Rock n Roll, Classic Covers, Jazz, Ballroom and New Zealand's Top 40. John covers it all. Two times New Zealand Brass Champion, a former member of the National Band of NZ and winner of a Scroll of Honour and the Agnew Award for Professionalism within the New Zealand Entertainment Industry. John was also named New Zealand's 2016 Top Musician of the Year. This show is not to be missed.
