Tangata Whenua encourages our whānau, hapū, iwi, kōhanga, kura and the wider community to stay healthy and well. Therefore we invite you to be part of a collective plan for dealing with the arrival of Covid in our community.
Kia Ora Ōtaki! Our version of Super Saturday, will be held at our principal marae, Raukawa. Everyone is welcome.
There will be information workshops and the health experts available to field questions:
- What should be expected.
- How will households be impacted.
- Caring for and managing the isolation of covid affected.
- Resourcing and accessing help as needed.
- A communication plan including for those not on social media or the internet.
Kia Ora Ōtaki! is about formulating our plan to address these issues and any others you might raise.
Workshops are open to vaccinated and unvaccinated. Social distancing and mask-wearing will be in effect. Resources will be distributed to all attendees.
Vaccinations will be available as well as info re-testing and self-isolation. Other health check ups will also be available (Hep C, Measles/Mumps/Rubella)
