Looking for something to do these school holidays? Why not celebrate kiwi month by joining the Whakatāne Kiwi Trust at Mahy Reserve in Ōhope for a fun morning of art and activities finished off with a hīkoi in the bush!
Kids are to bring their own morning tea which we will enjoy under the Pohutukawa trees before walking the Fair Brothers Loop Track.

Please bring: a water bottle, snacks, warm clothing, a raincoat and any personal medication. Sturdy walking shoes/hiking boots are recommended (no jandals!),

Please note:
-Tuesday 12 October is aimed for children aged 5-8 years. On this day all children must be accompanied by an adult.
-Wednesday 13 October is aimed for children aged 9-12 years. On this day an accompanying adult is not required; however, parents/caregivers are welcome to join in!
-The bushwalk will take approximately 1 hour to complete so moderate fitness is recommended

All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the Whakatāne Kiwi Trust to support our kiwi monitoring, pest control and education programmes in Whakatāne.
