Come and join us in this fun filled workshop where over two days you will forge a knife of your design from a piece of high carbon steel. You'll be using a forge and hammer and anvil to shape the knife, along with a power hammer and hydraulic press. You'll do a full heat treat, then grind your knife and attach a timber handle. Finally the knife will be sharpened ready for you to take home.
You'll be under the expert guidance of Shane Minnear who will assist you through each stage of the knife build.
All tools and materials will be supplied, along with lunch and tea breaks.
Each workshop is limited to two people so you'll receive one on one tuition throughout the workshop.
