This course starts on Wednesday 6 May 2021 and runs over six Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:30 PM. A course fee subsidy is available for NZ citizens and permanent residents (conditions apply).

Would you like to learn Korean in a no-stress, exciting environment? This course is designed for beginners who are interested in Korean culture and wish to acquire basic language skills.
Korean language for beginners aims to introduce true beginners of the Korean language to basic spoken and written skills in modern Korean. Students will learn Han gul (Korean alphabets) vowel and consonants and spelling.
By the end of the course, through speaking reading, and writing, students are expected to use survival Korean and carry out a conversation on simple topics of daily life: greetings, introduction, going shopping, asking for directions, and etc.
