Savour the tastes of Lammermoor whisky and gin with a small plate food match selected by the Retreat Chefs. And it is an opportunity to celebrate the Mackenzie Region’s Scottish heritage with the wearing of a kilt.
In the 1860's Lammermoor Range Station illegally distilled ‘moonshine’ for all those who travelled the Dunstan Trail. Building on this tradition the distillery is now operated by John, Susie and their children who have been busy distilling since opening in 2017. They have a truly a family-run operation. Their stories are rich and typically kiwi. Their whisky and gin is a unique Kiwi range of gin and single malt whisky expressions which include a Manuka smoked whisky and Otago peated single malts.
Your tariff includes a 5-course small plate menu with accompanying recommendations for whisky or gin match.
Whisky or Gin tasters are $5 and a cash / EFTPOS bar is available.
