Laughter and the Blues - Gary McCormick & Hammond Gamble

Radio presenter and commentator, television star, corporate speaker, comic, published poet – Gary is one of New Zealand’s favourite entertainers. His quick wit, intelligent and comment on almost everything has seen his “work” admired and in demand throughout the country. “I like to improvise and I like excitement. I use a hand-held radio mike to talk to people so I can be truly creative in my performances. I want the shows to be fun – for me and the audience!”

In a career spanning four decades, Hammond has delivered his distinctive vocals and guitar across the country. He has been chosen support for many major international acts from Tina Turner and Bonnie Raitt to Fleetwood Mac, Joe Cocker, and the Eagles. He has released a number of albums and gathered a collection of acclaimed awards along the way

During these Christmas gigs, Gary will be on form, as usual, telling a few home truths and acting the goat, while Hammond will play the guitar and sing a diverse collection of songs.
