Join us in this workshop and create your own bespoke items from leather. You will have 4 projects you can choose from; Knife sheath/multitool case, Wallet, dog collar or a set of coasters. The course covers pattern-making through to completed project and how to emboss and tool designs. Vegetable-tanned leather can be purchased on the day from the tutor at a cost of $20 per square foot. If students want to bring their own leather it is advised that they bring Vegetable tanned leather. The total cost of leather will range from $10 - $40 depending on the size and project you choose to do.
Students will need to bring; craft knife/Stanley knife, pencil, pen and note pad or paper. If you wish to make a sheath or multitool case you will need to bring the knife or tool along. For health and safety you must wear covered shoes and have hair tied back.
