Havelock Lions Club are proud to bring two very experienced actors- Rae McGregor and Peter Meikle to Canvastown Memorial Hall for one performance of Love Letters, a play written by A.R. Gurney and presented with the permission of Dramatists Play Services Inc., New York. The actors are donating their time.
This fundraising event will assist in bringing the therapeutic Wellington Children's Hospital Playscape to a reality. The Children's Hospital will serve children from Napier through to Marlborough/ Nelson and the West Coast.
When Andrew Makepeace Ladd lll accepts an invitation to Melissa Gardner's birthday party and Melissa writes a thank you, a romantic friendship and correspondence destined to last for almost half a century is born.
