Boutique literary festival with a local feel, held in Mapua and all ticket sales will benefit the Mapual Community Library. This year's event will be organised by volunteers from the library and will feature local writers from the Tasman region. The theme this year is 'Celebrating Local Writers' with all writers coming from around the Nelson, Tasman, Golden Bay areas. Authors include: Christine Leunens, David Young, Greig Caigou, Alexandra Tidswell, Chris Stuart, Chris Potter, Robert Jenkins, Gerard Hindmarsh, Poets: Roger Lusby, Jessica Le Bas, Mark Raffills, Rachel McAlpine and Children's book writers and illustrators: Mike Howell and Jocelyn Rae.

Birdlife Productions will also be featuring their puppetry and songs "Box of Birds" for 3-7-year-olds and "The Boy with Wings" for 5-10-year-olds and young at heart.

There will also be a Storytellers' and Illustrators' Workshop run by Mike Howell and Jocelyn Rae.
