The Marlborough Biodiversity Forum aims to provide a platform for community groups, landowners, iwi, youth and agencies to network, support and learn with each other to grow conservation in Marlborough. Todays morning speakers are:
David Aires, Marlborough District Council. What would a Wairau River Regional Park look like?
Heli Wade, Marlborough District Council. Te Hoiere/Pelorus catchment: Restoration on a landscape scale
Gillian Dennis, Te Hoiere/Pelorus Recovery Project. Going batty
PLUS
Concurrent afternoon discussions, with the theme of "How can we work as a district to ..."
1. Effectively control weeds in our natural areas, what support do we need from others?
2. Achieve introduced predator control at landscape scale
