Class topics:
Meditation for Busy People – week of 25 January to week of 22 February 5 weeks
Do you ever feel that you are too busy to meditate? Learn practical advice on how to integrate meditation into your busy modern life and become more focused and positive. Suitable for everyone.
Overcoming Stress and Anxiety – week of 1 March to week of 22 March 4 weeks
Many people suffer from anxiety and stress at some time or other. Sometimes it is due to stressful work, sometimes due to problems at home, and sometimes due to difficult relationships.
On this course, learn how anxiety and stress, as well as other conditions such as tension, nervousness, worry and depression have their roots in our state of mind and show how we can reduce and eventually overcome these conditions by working on our mind with a combination of meditation and positive thinking.
Clarity: stillness within – Week of 29 March to week of 26 April 5 weeks
Dive into the silence and clarity of your own mind and experience the tranquility of the mind’s pure nature.
What to expect at a class:
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or to benefit from them. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 75 minutes. Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.
These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
