Motueka Kai Fest is colourful, family fun day bringing community together in celebration of our regions outstanding produce! It's a fabulous day out full of great entertainment & delicious kai and attracts over 6,000 people each year.
This year the Motueka Kai Fest is at a new, big location right next to the Rec Centre in Motueka. You’ll find heaps of things to do – we’ve got 2 entertainment stages, lots of kai with local & international flavours, a bar serving locally sourced drinks, great local bands, performances, workshops & educational initiatives and a cook off competition! There will be a large area set aside for educational games, circus performers and aerial skills.
Gates open at 10.30am and the opening ceremony & kapa haka kicks of the day at 11am. There'll be plenty to keep you entertained all day with special guests Knights of the Dub Table from 4.30 to 6pm! See our website www.motuekakaifest.nz for a detailed look at "what's on"!

Motueka Kai Fest’s mission is to celebrate the Motueka region as an excellent food growing region, thanks to outstanding water, soil, climate, and people. Our purpose is to bring together our community of many cultures to learn more about, and honour, the one thing which we all have in common – kai (food).
