Volleyball NZ are delighted to launch a new tournament: National Volleyball League. Come and watch the top athletes from NZ compete!

Four Men’s and Women’s teams representing the 4 zones across NZL will vie for the title of New Zealand National Volleyball League Champions. 48 of our best athletes will play with and against each other in a compact yet extremely competitive environment. Come and enjoy the amazing atmosphere while watching these talented athletes battle it out. The NVL has a unique set up , in that each team picks 3 Marquee Players who have to be based in their region. A ‘Marquee Player’ is a Volley Black or Volley Fern who has played for these teams in the past two years, or a player who is at the level to represent the Volley Blacks or Volley Ferns but hasn't to playing overseas/internationally. After the 3 Marquee players are picked, all other athletes will be selected for each team using a draft system. This draft system will see rivals become teammates, friends playing against friends, and exciting new combinations of players never seen before.

Saturday 10th of July:
12pm Central Hauwhenua Women v Midlands Te Waiora Women;
2pm Northern Moana Men v Central Hauwhenua Men;
5pm Midlands Te Waiora Men v Southern Pounamu Men;
7pm Southern Pounamu Women v Northern Moana Women
