Northern Invasion 2021
Unfortunately, it's all too rare to see bands from the upper North Island venture down this far. After sharing the stage with Karnack and Teraset at Smashfest 2021, the lads from Teeth and Nails decided it'd be great to give them a taste of the Hellington air. The line up was completed with the addition of fellow (mid) northeners ABYSM, and thus Northern Invasion 2021 came to fruition. A devastating line-up covering a wide spectrum of heavy genres, from band to band and song to song, this is an unmissable opportunity for Wellingtonians to welcome the northern invaders Karnack, Abysm, and Teraset to the capital, and to support local lads Teeth and Nails.

Teeth and Nails
Comprised of ex-members of Grief Giver, Flesh Quota, Belligerence, The Heathen Collective, Blutfleck, and Devile, the band members of Teeth and Nails collectively have a vast amount of experience that belies the bands age.

Inspired and influenced by the likes of Lamb Of God, Pantera, Black Dahlia Murder, Chimaira and Exodus, plus countless others, and brought together by a shared goal of playing fast, groovy, yet still skull crushingly heavy metal, the only unspoken rules we have are; go fast, go hard, go heavy.

ABYSM
Grinding, abrasive, cacophonous heavy music with many areas of influence from the extreme metal/hardcore spectrum.

Karnack
We are a four piece metal band from Te Awamutu, Waikato, New Zealand. Our influences include Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Trivium, Devilskin and Gojira, as well as punk and funk.

Teraset
Three piece band from New Zealand's North Island with roots in Old School Death Metal, seasoned with individual influences and grooves to produce something a little different.
