Northland Squash Open

Top squash comes to Whangarei with the Northland Squash Open a PSA Challenger men's tournament and PSA Satellite women's event.

The men's draw is headed by national champion, Evan Williams ranked 67 in the world who has won four Challenger events this year, followed by three other players in the top 200 rankings; Lwamba Chileshe, Temwa Chileshe and Joel Arscott.

There are a number of highly ranked Northland players including Finn and Max Trimble as well as Riley-Jack Vette Blomquist. Australian Damon MacMillian is also in the men's draw.

In the women's draw there are former Northlanders in Abbie Palmer ranked in the top 120 in the world and former world No.6 Shelley Kitchen as well.
