The celebration will have a flag hoisting ceremony, cultural performance, and traditional food stalls.

On 14 August 1947, Pakistan gained its independence and declared a sovereign state following the
end of British India. Leaders such as Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad
Ali Jinnah and many others worked tirelessly for the political, social, and economic uplifting of Muslims in British India. They played a vital role during the independence movement.
To remember their efforts, sacrifice, and celebrate our independence, Pakistanis all across the globe arrange Independence events.
