November’s programme will start with the Open Mike session. This will be followed at about 5.15 by our Guest Poet, Mark Pirie. Mark is a poet, fiction writer, non-fiction writer, literary critic, publisher, editor and anthologist. His work has been extensively published in New Zealand and around the world. Mark’s latest book, Slips, collects together the full range of his cricket poetry. It contains poems on many facets of ‘the beautiful game’ that reflect Mark’s passion for both cricket and poetry. We are rewarded with a collection that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. (The Fringe Bar is operating with Covid-19 Level 2 measures and protocols in place in accordance with government recommendations.)
