Pokeno Markets have been running since 2009. This open-air country market is held every Sunday from 8am till 1pm in a large paddock on Great South Road (right in the heart of Pokeno Village).
It features eclectic stalls that showcase - fruit & veggies, jams, sauces & chutneys, knitwear, gifts, healthy & beauty items, leather goods, pet accessories, crafts, jewellery, baking, cheeses, coffee, honey, free-range eggs, plants, cellphone repairs & accessories, food, bric a brac and much more.
So make it a weekly date to come on down (rain or shine) and catch up with friends, and all the regularly local stallholders.
