Porirua Anzac Day

Please join us as we commemorate those lost in war, and honour returned servicemen and women with an Anzac Day service in Porirua.

8.45 am (live streaming commences)
9 am Civic service, Peace Memorial at Te Rauparaha Park
10 am concludes (approximately)

We welcome everyone to join us after the service for morning tea in the NZCT Stadium, Te Rauparaha Arena. Please enter the Stadium through the rear car park off Lyttleton Avenue.

There are several services around Porirua throughout the day. These are listed below in chronological order:

Porirua RSA - A Dawn Service will be held at the RSA, McKillop Street, starting at 6am.

The Titahi Bay Club Dawn Parade - A Dawn Parade will be held at 6am from the Titahi Bay Surf Life Saving Club, with the main Dawn Service conducted at the north end of Titahi Bay Beach, near the old gun emplacement on the access road to the beach from Bay Drive.

Pāuatahanui - A Memorial Service will be held in St Alban’s Church, Pāuatahanui, starting at 10.15 am.

Takapūwāhia - A service will be held at Takapūwāhia Marae starting at 10.30 am.

Pukerua Bay - A service is being held at the Pukerua Bay Community Hall at 11 am, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at Whenua Tapu Cemetery at noon.
