Welcome to the first in a new wave of professional and semi-professional events from the team at Remarkably Funny. We are proud to kick off the year with a trio of shows showcasing some of the best talent in the area and from further afield!
Hitting the stage in Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown are a selection of our finest acts who cut their teeth in the local open mics and now are bringing it bigger and better with longer sets and exciting new material. This includes 2020 Otago Raw Comedy Quest finalists Shane Mulvey and Seán Tinker.
We're also over the moon to be joined by two visiting acts, both regulars from the UK circuit. Australian comedian and winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Golden Gibbo award Laura Davis brings her sharp, charming and delightful brand of comedy to the South Island for the first time ever. And last but not least, the show will be hosted by one of the best comedians on the NZ and International circuit, James Nokise (winner of the Fred award for best show by a kiwi comedian in the NZ International Comedy Festival), who has wowed audiences in New Zealand, Australia and UK!
